Alte is unfortunately one of the keywords to this place. The room was a bit dark and the layout is not very practical with lots of steps and the room being much deeper than it's wide The location is on the wrong bank to get to other restaurants and sites. It's easy to get to from the freeway, but parking is horrible (there's space but it's bumpy and across a busy street)

This is for the restaurant. We were driving through looking for someplace to eat and decided to give it a try. It was decorated in traditional German decor. Our friends who live in Germany said it was authentic decore and was a traditional country style with locals eating there. We had two Italian dishes that were delicious with very generous portions at very reasonable prices for what we received. The best was the soup of the day, creme of mushroom. It was exceptional. Also, the restaurant was quiet even with other people dining there and everyone was very nice. Bathrooms were also clean. There was a beautiful large patio in the back for outside seating. Unfortunately, it was raining so we couldn't experience it. We would highly recommend it and would enjoy going back if we are ever in the area again.

I changed my booking at very short notice and then arrived way after the Reception had closed. I called the owner and he kindly drove to the hotel and checked me in.... 🙏🏿 Smallish hotel with cosy clean rooms good beds and very friendly staff. Nice and quiet close to but not in the center town, which was perfect for me as I needed to be at an event practically just around the corner and could still be in town for evening drinks. It was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Extremely loud road next to the rooms, very hot as well in the mid summer, no air-condition, hard pillows. But friendly staff! It's is clean as well. Breakfast is bit limited, but dinner was nice.

Room for three is very clean, modern and newly furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Room was quiet. Bathroom is exceptional! Loved the shower. Front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good. (Ate dinner at the restaurant next door. It has nice outdoor seeting on their back terrace. $$)
